The present invention relates to a gate driver and, more specifically, to a gate driver including a discharge circuit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the gate driver comprises: a first switch for connecting or disconnecting a first power source and a power semiconductor element; a capacitor charged according to connection between the first power source and the power semiconductor element and configured to provide a current corresponding to initial charging of the connection to the power semiconductor element; and a second switch turned on to discharge charges charged in the capacitor when the first power source and the power semiconductor device are disconnected. According to the present invention, the gate driver can rapidly discharge charges charged in a fast charging capacitor in case of switch to a turn-off operation mode through a separate discharging circuit.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2022
