Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station (BS) can transmit and a user equipment (UE) can receive the cloned bandwidth portion configuration information. In some aspects, the UE can determine a connection between the primary bandwidth portion and the cloned bandwidth portion. In some aspects, it is cloned to identify the primary bandwidth portion to signal a bandwidth portion switch for the primary bandwidth portion and the first bandwidth portion, or to signal a bandwidth portion switch for the primary bandwidth portion and the second bandwidth portion. The downlink control information message identifying the bandwidth portion, the BS can transmit and the UE can receive. In some aspects, the UE may perform a bandwidth partial switch based at least in part on the downlink control information message. Many other aspects are provided.
