A method for rapid wall installation is provided by spray-applying the composition and a joint composition comprising a polymeric binder and hollow spheres. The spray-applied wet-dry joint composition is substantially free of hardenable minerals, bulk fillers, clay, starch, mica, Ca(Mg)C03, expanded pearlite, gypsum, talc, and diatomaceous earth. Shrinkage is <15 vol% (ASTM C474-05) and viscosity is adjusted to 15,600-23,000 cP (ASTM C474-05). The joint composition includes 3 to 90 wt% of a radex emulsifying binder selected from acrylic acid polymers, acrylic acid copolymers, alkyds, polyurethanes, polyesters, and epoxy; Up to 5 wt% nonionic surfactant; Up to 3 wt% of wetting agent; And 5-25 wt% of a plurality of hollow spheres.
