본원은배기가스덕트 (22) 용열 차폐부가제공된내연피스톤엔진에관한것이다. 열차폐부의본체는배기가스덕트 (22) 주위에칼라를형성하고, 열차폐부에는본체의제 1 단부에서부터본체의제 2 단부까지연장되는구멍 (26) 이제공되고, 이구멍을통하여배기가스덕트 (22) 가연장되며, 배기가스덕트 (22) 와열 차폐부 (24) 의칼라사이에는간극 (42) 이제공되고, 제 1 냉각유체개구 (36) 는실린더헤드의냉각채널 (28) 과연통하도록배열되고, 제 2 냉각유체개구 (34) 는구멍 (26) 의중심선으로부터열 차폐부의반경방향원위단부에배열된다.
