The invention relates to a method for processing a liquid natural gas stream from LNG import terminal. The method by operating the stage and slush screen units to obtain a vaporized pressurized natural gas stream by operating the vaporizing unit comprises a step of obtaining a slush, and the cooled gas phase of a liquid and a solid. The method further comprises the step of moving the stage and the cooled vapor stream to provide a cooled vapor stream to recover the vapor from the slush cooling firearm as gasification unit.
