The contact lens is a thin silicon chip integrated therein, is provided with a method of assembling the silicon chip in the contact lens. In one embodiment, the method includes generating a plurality of lenses, the contact pads on the lens substrate, and generating a plurality of chip contact pads on the chip. In this method, the lens comprising: applying the assembly bonding material on each of the plurality of lenses, contact pads or the chip contact pad, using a method comprising: aligning the plurality of lenses, the contact pads and a plurality of chip contact pad, a flip-chip bonding through the assembly bonding material the step of bonding the chip to the substrate, and forming a contact lens in a lens substrate.
