Belt 10 has an outer layer 18 made of an elastomeric belt body (12), electrically conductive tension cords (14), electrically conductive thermoplastic material such as polypropylene film, such as carbon fibers in the cord layer to reinforce the belt body, and located between the tensile cord layer and the outer layer, it is composed of an electrically conductive fabric layer (14) to provide electrical continuity between the outer layer and the tensile cord. And electrically conductive threads (thread) may be woven into the fabric, may be present on both surfaces of the fabric can be in contact with both the outer layer and the tensile cord providing electrical continuity between them.
