The apparatus for removing eggs from the egg carrier is provided. Such apparatus comprises a hoisting system having an array of eggs Egg lifting device configured to lift the eggs from the frame, and wherein the egg carrier. Platform assembly includes a platform configured to be movably positioned between the array and the carrier of the eggs Egg lifting device. In this manner, the platform with the other hand can be positioned to receive the eggs from the egg being released at the same time the lifting device may be prevented access to the eggs in the egg carrier for lifting devices. The related method is also provided.
