The display device includes a display panel and a backlight unit. The display panel may be a curve with respect to the first direction. The backlight unit may have a different curvature of the upper and lower surfaces. The backlight unit may comprise a bottom cover, a light emitting diode, and a diffusion plate. The bottom cover may include a side wall extending from the bottom portion and the bottom portion. The light emitting diodes are disposed on the bottom portion, it can be provided in a plurality. The diffusion plate may be disposed on the light emitting diode. The pitch between the light-emitting diode in the first direction measured along the surface of the bottom portion may be proportional to the distance between the said light-emitting diode in a direction perpendicular to the bottom portion of the diffusion plate.
