The present invention relates to the useful life of a plurality of transistors operating in parallel to a system and method for extending and uniformly. The temperature of each transistor is measured and is compared to the average temperature of the transistor system. The temperature difference between the average temperature of the transistor and the transistor of each of the measured temperature is determined. By controlling the current passing through each transistor, each transistor gate resistance of each transistor and the gate-emitter to control the measured temperatures of the resistance is to the variable based on the temperature difference - thus, also balancing the transistor heat.
