The disclosure provides a method of driving a fuel additive concentrate, method of cleaning of the fuel injectors, power restoration method for a diesel engine fuel injection, the fuel compositions, and fuel injection diesel engine. Additive concentrate is (a) a hydrocarbyl-substituted internal salts of quaternary ammonium, and (b) hydrocarbyl substituted dicarboxylic acid anhydride derivative (wherein the hydrocarbyl substituent has an average molecular weight of from about 450 to about 1500 range and a has).
