The present invention relates generally to mutant IL-2 polypeptide that is the affinity for the reduction, α- subunit of the IL-2 receptors for use as immunotherapeutic agents. The invention also relates to vectors and host cells comprising a polynucleotide molecule, and wherein the polynucleotide molecule encoding the immunoconjugate, the mutant IL-2 polypeptide, or immunoconjugates containing the mutant IL-2 polypeptide.
