A method of including a peracid compound, and associated compositions in non-aqueous media has been developed. It is an acid stable and contain a non-aqueous media and retains chemical antimicrobial activity thereof for an extended period of time. Non-aqueous medium may be removed prior to application, or far right of the peracid.
