The present invention at least provide an improved process to partially produce an aromatics alkylation from the alkylatable aromatic compound and the alkylating agent, untreated with, under process conditions comprising a temperature of from about 30 ℃ to about 300 ℃, alkylation with a catalyst poison in the reaction zone and is independent of the processing zone, the alkylatable aromatic compound stream is treated with the treating composition greater than the surface area / volume ratio of the surface 30 in -1 (12 cm -1) , decreases the catalyst poison, the processing to form an effluent comprising an alkylated aromatic compound.
