Medical magneto meter (10) including one or more induction coils (2) for detecting a time-varying magnetic field of the target person in the body, such as the heart. Each coil is a 4 to 7 cm maximum outer diameter, and the ratio is at least 0.5 of the length of the coil to the outer diameter of the coil, and has a configuration ratio of less than or equal to 0.5 of the internal diameter of the coil on the coil outer diameter. Each of the induction coil (2) is connected to each detection circuit comprising a low-impedance pre-amplifier 3, a low-pass filter 5, a notch filter to remove the line noise (6), and averaging the components (7) do. Each detection circuit generates an output signal 9 for use for analyzing a time-varying magnetic field in the region of the subjects body.
