본 발명은 프로세스를 스케줄링하기 위한 방법 및 그 전자 장치에 관한 것으로서, 전자 장치의 프로세스 스케줄링 방법은, 전자 장치가 휴면 모드(sleep mode)로 진입되거나 혹은 적어도 하나의 애플리케이션이 백그라운드 실행 모드로 진입되는지 여부를 감지하는 과정과, 실행중인 애플리케이션의 속성 값에 따라 상태 제어 대상이 되는 적어도 하나의 애플리케이션을 결정하는 과정과, 상기 결정된 적어도 하나의 애플리케이션의 실행 정보를 저장하는 과정과, 상기 결정된 애플리케이션을 스케줄링 제외 대상으로 결정하는 과정을 포함하여, 소모 전력을 감소시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
