Embodiments, the consideration of the uplink and / or methods, systems, and apparatus for measuring the interference in a wireless communication network including a blank MIMO in the downlink communication. Embodiments, are contemplated for identifying one or more interference measurement resource elements which may be received from one or more transmission points. Embodiments also be considered by one or more interference measurement resource elements identified at least in part, based on the interference measurements carried estimation. Perhaps there is a report in the form of channel state information (CSI) can be produced by at least one interferometry estimated at least in part. Examples are further contemplated that the reported CSI can be transmitted to one or more nodes. In some embodiments, the one or more interference measurement resource elements will be part of a set of resource elements.
