Arrangement of the cylinder liner 20 and the cylinder head 10, cylinder liner 20 and the cylinder head 10 through a tight seal, a pair of liners and the head centering surfaces (80A, 80B) in between, and the O- ring a cylinder unit with a cylinder head / cylinder liner interface that can provide a seal with a coolant circulation space is proposed. Specifically, the interface may include a counter corresponding to the step-like structure on the surface of the well as a stepped structure in terms of the cylinder liner end as the cylinder head 10. Further, the step-like structure of the counter cylinder head 10 may provide protection for the nozzle 12 mounted to the cylinder head 10 of the mounting disabled.
