The invention, in one embodiment, the present invention relates to a cushioned pad. Buffer acts pad includes an upper surface, a lower surface, buffer action zone having a thickness and width. Buffering action region includes a continuous upper layer which is disposed between and contiguous the lower layer and thereby continuously combining the buffer action material. The channel is disposed in the area around the buffer action it is limited to such a buffering action region, and such channel comprises a thickness less than the thickness of the buffering action area. Channel comprises an additional continuous upper and a continuous lower layer by, and contiguous upper layer is bonded at least in part on a continuous lower layer. Wear resistant material may be added with a continuous top layer and / or disposed on the upper layer.
