The present invention relates to a camera device in a vehicle and a method for taking an image thereof which is configured to record a picture; adjust the reflectivity of a glass for a vehicle using the image; and store the image. According to the present invention, the camera device not only implements a black box function, but can also suppress the phenomenon of glaring that occurs to a driver.
