Monolithic opener spectrometer is disclosed herein by a variety of factors such as the slit and diffraction grating made using state-of-the-art diamond machining process. In one embodiment, the monolithic opener spectrometer is produced directly by using a diamond machining process. In another embodiment, the monolithic opener spectrometer is produced by using the mold (mold) made by a diamond machining process. In yet another embodiment, the diffraction grating is produced directly by using a diamond machining process. In yet another embodiment, the diffraction grating is produced by using a mold made by diamond machining process. In yet another embodiment, the slits are made directly using a diamond machining process.
