The treatment apparatus is provided for use with an endoscope having an instrument channel and the distal end for passage of endoscopic instruments. The treatment apparatus comprises a mounting portion for mounting a rotatable end effector, and a base for the end effector assembly, and a base having a base disposed on a distal end of the endoscope in the endoscope. Mounting portions can be compressed elastically, which can be compressed in the radial direction so as to be inserted into the channel mechanism, the resilient spring force of the compressed portion is mounted to hold the base to the distal end of the endoscope. Further, the mounting part to communicate with the channel mechanism (1) and extending through in the longitudinal direction and includes an opening sized to accommodate the endoscopic instruments.
