The present invention is to provide a nitric oxide purification method and a purification system which is suitable for obtaining a nitric oxide gas of high purity by suppressing a byproduct formation. A nitric oxide purification method of the present invention in order to achieve the above objective comprises an adsorption process for through-flowing mixing gas containing at least nitric oxide and moisture to inorganic adsorbents and adsorbing moisture to the corresponding adsorbent and uses a pretreatment-completed adsorbent pre-treated in advance for forming inorganic acid salts for the inorganic adsorbents. The present invention provides a system for performing such a nitric oxide purification method.
