The present invention provides a sensor assembly for determining the concentration of hydrogen in the insulating fluid in the generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. The assembly is placed in the hydrogen sensor, and the housing that is disposed in the housing, the housing having therein an opening in communication with the fluid and reaction on the hydrogen concentration in the fluid generating a signal related to the hydrogen concentration in response to the fluid and it comprises a pressure sensor for generating a second signal indicative of the pressure of the fluid in the equipment. The assembly is disposed in the housing and further includes a signal processor responsive to the first and second signals for connection to the hydrogen sensor and the pressure sensor and generating a third signal representative of the hydrogen concentration in the fluid.
