The present invention relates to a portable device to determine by checking the status of a machine or apparatus by using an ultrasonic signal of an ultrasonic sensor array for receiving the ultrasonic signal transmitted from a machine or device. The equipment has a heterodyne circuit coupled to receive the output signal from the ultrasonic sensor, and to switch the output signal to the heterodyne recognized audio signal is analyzed by a digital spectrum analyzer incorporated in a portable device. The digital spectrum analyzer performs a real time fast Fourier transform (fast fourier transformations) for heterodyne recognized audio signal. When the signal analysis is complete, a small apparatus is granted to the queue (cues) to the parts of the machine that require allow a user to repair or to monitor through a variety of audio-visual signal.
