Provided is a sealed honeycomb structure capable of improving the durability while suppressing the increase of the pressure loss. A honeycomb structure (4) comprises: a porous partition wall (1) partitioning an inlet cell (2a) and an outlet cell (2b) extended from the end of the inlet to the end (12) of the outlet; an inlet sealing unit (5b); and an outlet sealing unit. At least one outlet cell (2b) is a reinforcement cell (22) having a reinforcing unit (6) reinforcing the outlet cell at least on one corner part (21a) where the partition wall, which is vertical to the direction of the extended cell (2), is crossed. The inlet cell is a non-reinforcement cell (23) not having the reinforcing unit on every corner where the partition wall, which is vertical to the direction of the extended cell, is crossed.
