The present invention relates to tumor-targeting gas-generating nanoparticles, a method for preparing the same, and tumor-targeting drug delivery nanoparticles using the same and, more specifically, to tumor-targeting gas-generating nanoparticles including a carbonate polymer core and an amphiphilic outer cover, a method for preparing the same, and tumor-targeting drug delivery nanoparticles using the same. The tumor-targeting gas-generating nanoparticles according to the present invention can be usefully used as an ultrasonic imaging agent since the nanoparticles generate a strong ultrasonic signal after being aggregated and accumulated in the tumor tissue and shows improved performance in tumor specific drug delivery since the nanoparticle has improved penetration and bodily fluid effects and improved cell transmission ability, and the like.
