A method for preparing microbial cellulose according to an example of the present invention comprises the steps of: juicing Jeju Citrus sudachi fruits and collecting Citrus sudachi juice; collecting a Citrus sudachi extract from residues after juicing; and collecting microbial cellulose from the Citrus sudachi juice or extract. A microbial cellulose medium composition for preparing the microbial cellulose according to another example of the present invention contains 100 parts by weight of Hestrin-Schramm (HS) medium, 1-2 parts by weight of glucose, and 0.1-5 parts by weight of the Citrus sudachi juice, the Citrus sudachi extract, or the mixture thereof.
