PURPOSE: A laundry machine having a damping unit is provided to stably rotate a drum in a spin-drying process. CONSTITUTION: A laundry machine includes a cabinet (10), a drum (30), a base plate (160), a driving unit, and a damping unit (200). The cabinet includes an outer frame (10b), an inner frame (10a), and a lower frame (18). The rotatable drum is placed inside the inner frame. The base plate is coupled to the lower side of the drum. The driving unit is coupled to the base plate. The damping unit connects the base plate and the lower frame, and absorbs vibration.
