PURPOSE: A novel amide gellant composition containing isosorbide is provided to offer a solid ink with an improved hardening property supplied by a material containing a bio-renewable content. CONSTITUTION: Amide gellant compound is represented by a chemical formula. The amide gellant is polyamide compound with an ester-end capped by an isosorbide. The amide gellant suitable for the composition is biamphiphilic to improve wettability when the composition is used on a substrate containing silicone or other types of oil on the upper part.
