PURPOSE: A voltage-controlling method of a DC voltage intermediate circuit is provided to be able to control the voltage of a DC voltage intermediate circuit without using a charging apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A voltage-controlling method of a DC voltage intermediate circuit in a battery system is provided. The real value of the voltage of the DC voltage intermediate circuit is determined, and compared with various output voltages of the battery. A first selection output voltage of a battery smaller than the real value of the voltage of the DC voltage intermediate circuit and a second selection output voltage of a battery higher than the real value of the voltage of the DC voltage intermediate circuit are selected. The first and second selection output voltages are output during first and second variable time periods, respectively. The method is repeated until the voltage of the DC voltage intermediate circuit reaches a target operation voltage.
