PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave motor is provided to implement stable pressurization by operating a driven member with elliptical oscillation. CONSTITUTION: An oscillator generates elliptical oscillation. A driven body (101) is oscillated by the oscillator. A pressurization device pressurizes the oscillator to the driven body. A first maintenance member (104) maintains the oscillator. A second maintenance member pressurizes the oscillator to the driven body. The second holding member pressurizes the vibrator about the driven body.
