PURPOSE: A filtering method is provided to separate solid catalyst particles from aqueous inorganic process liquid by optimizing an efficiency of a reverse flush process. CONSTITUTION: A filtering method uses a filtering unit comprising filter candles. The volume ratio of liquid between the filter candles with respect to the external surface areas of the filter candles is in the range of 0.01-0.05. The filtering method comprises a filter cycle with the steps of: forming filtering cakes by coating filter candles with a catalyst; forming filtrate by filtering inorganic process liquid using the filtering cakes; and removing the filtering cakes by supplying the reverse flush volume of the filtrate into the filter candles and performing a reverse flush process. The reverse flush volume to the volume of the liquid between the filter candles is in the range of 0.4-1.5.
