PURPOSE: A viewfinder device and a camera including the same are provided to implement a hybrid viewfinder function for performing both an optical viewfinder function and an electronic viewfinder function by using a transparent display device. CONSTITUTION: Light of a subject passes through a through hole(11) of a main body(10). A transparent display device(30) is manufactured of transparent materials. The transparent display is arranged on an optical path of the light passing through the through hole. When a signal is supplied to the transparent display device, the transparent display device displays an image by overlapping the image with the light passing through the through hole.
