PURPOSE: A refrigerator lighting system is provided to successively operate lights according to the distance with the user. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator lighting system comprises an optical source unit(30), a first light pipe(31), a first light diffusion plate(15), a second light pipe, second light diffusion plates(11,12,13). The optical source unit is installed to be thermally blocked from inside the refrigerator. The first light pipe is connected to the optical source unit. The first light pipe transfers light to from the optical source unit to the inside the refrigerator. The first light diffusion plate is installed inside the refrigerator.
