PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of fluoride and a fluoride phosphor is provided to provide fluoride with high safety and productivity, and to manufacture fluoride phosphor with uniform particle size and shape and good luminous performance. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of fluoride represented by chemical formula 1: A2MF6 comprises: a step of preparing a first solution containing a fluoride of tetravalent element M, a second solution containing a compound of alkali metal A, and/or solid containing the compound of alkali metal; a step of reacting the compound of alkali metal A and the fluoride of tetravalent element M by mixing the first solution and the second solution and/or solid; and a recovery step liquid-solid separating a solid product formed by the reaction. In chemical formula 1, M is one or more kinds of tetravalent element selected from Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ge and Sn, A is one or more kinds of alkali metal selected from Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs.
