PURPOSE: A method for isolating nucleic acids using carbon nanotubes with a positive charge is provided to enhance a binding force with nucleic acids and to improve nucleic acid yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating nucleic acids using carbon nanotubes with a positive charge comprises: a step of mixing a sample containing the nucleic acids with the carbon nanotubes(S100); a step of adding washing buffer to the mixture and washing(S200); and a step of adding a DNA elution reagent to the mixture and collecting the nucleic acids(S300). The method further comprises a step of modifying a non-polar carbon nanotube into a carbon nanotube with positive charge.
