PURPOSE: A mail feeding device for feeding mail matters one by one is provided to feed mail matters to automated processing equipment one by one using a vacuum suction method. CONSTITUTION: A mail feeding device for feeding mail matters one by one is composed of a mail feeding unit, a suction and transfer unit, engaging rollers(371,372), and a control unit. The mail feeding unit loads mail matters on a feeding belt(311) and transfers the loaded mail matters. A suction belt(323) of the suction and transfer unit is installed between a drive roller(321) and a driven roller(322). The suction and transfer unit sucks and transfers the mail matters. The engaging rollers grip and transfer the mail matters. The control unit controls the mail feeding unit, the suction and transfer unit, and the engaging rollers.
