A method for bonding the additional material of diverse shapes in a textile base is a step of printing an adhesive material such as a thermoplastic ink on a backing sheet such as a paper backing. Thermoplastic ink may be printed on a paper backing with a desired shape, and the print head, silk screen, gravure, or any other suitable printing device capable of printing ink onto a backing sheet to a desired thickness. The adhesive material is typically printed in a substantially same shape as the periphery of the additional material to be bonded to the textile base. After the thermoplastic ink is printed onto the backing sheet, the thermoplastic ink is transferred onto the base fabric by using a bonding process. Next, the backing sheet is peeled off, additional material using a bonding process that is subsequently bonded to the exposed adhesive material on the base fabric.
