PURPOSE: A drying and carbonating apparatus is provided to easily decompress the inner part of a reactor by using a decompressing part by discharging high temperature gas from the reactor to the decompressing part after cooling. CONSTITUTION: A drying and carbonating apparatus includes a reactor(10), a vapor supplying member, a decompressing part, a discharging part(30), and a cooling part. Targets are supplied to the reactor. The vapor supplying member supplies over heated vapor into the reactor. The decompressing part is positioned at the external side of the reactor in order to discharge gas form the inner part of the reactor to the outer part of the reactor. The discharging part discharges the gas form the inner part of the reactor to the decompressing part. The cooling part is arranged on the discharging part between the reactor and the decompressing part and cools gas from the reactor to the decompressing part.
