The connector assembly includes a housing 106, a power supply contact portion 300, the interlock circuit contact portion, lever sub-assemblies and latch lever (154). Lever subassembly is coupled pivotally to the housing 106 and the handle 148 and the handle includes an end portion 152 and the handle end 152 is engaged with the mating connector, whereby the handle 148 is rotated when to move the housing 106 with respect to the mating connector. The handle 148 to separate the interlock circuit before contact disengaged from the mating power contact to sequentially supply contacts 300 to rotate from the mating contact portion interlock.
