The vehicle air flow boundary layer controlling structure is provided with a vehicle body and side mirrors (9). The vehicle body comprises an outer surface having a contour formed air flow deflector (11). Side mirror 9 is attached to the vehicle body so that the direction of a diagonal line seen from the driver's seat rearward. Air flow deflector 11 has an inner longitudinal air flow guide surface (11b) provided in the body region of the outer surface formed in the contour of the vehicle body to pass along the air flow directed towards the side mirror (9). Inside the longitudinal air flow guide surface (11b) it is extended in the air flow direction of the air flow with respect to a side mirror (9), thereby turning to the inside of the side mirror (9) for the air flow in the vehicle width direction.
