PURPOSE: An LCD and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the durability of LCD. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(101) and the second substrate(102) are facing each other. A liquid crystal layer(120) is arranged in between the first substrate and the second substrate. A color filter(113) is arranged in between the liquid crystal layer and the second substrate. A black matrix(114) is formed on the color filter. A sealing member(116) is arranged in between the first substrate and the second substrate to combine the first substrate and the second substrate. A plurality of uneven members(117) is formed on the second substrate to overlap with the sealing member. A reflecting layer(118) is formed on a plurality of uneven members. A cover layer(119) is formed on the upper side of the reflecting layer to cover the reflecting layer and a plurality of uneven members.
