본 발명에 의한 전선피복절단기(100)는, 양측방에 형성되는 측판(113)과,상기 측판(113)의 상단을 연결하는 상판(117)으로 구성된 바디(110)가 구성되고, 상기 상판(117)의 하면(118)에 칼날(120)이 돌출되어 구성됨으로써, 상기 바디(110) 내부에 칼날(120)의 선단이 돌출됨으로써 전선(10)에 상기 칼날(120)이 꽂힌 상태에서는 상기 칼날(120)이 노출되지 않기 때문에 손을 다치는 사고를 예방할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 바디(110)를 잡고 전선(10)의 길이방향으로 당기기만 하면 저절로 절개선이 형성됨으로써 큰 힘들이지 않고 용이하게 절개할 수 있는 특징이 있다.
