Biocompatible silk mesh prosthetic device for surgery, in particular to substantially prevent the disconnection of the mesh device, a pay-off (unraveling) and utilizes a knitted fabric patterns to preserve the stability of the mesh device. It is placed into an exemplary prosthetic device knitting direction and a knitted mesh comprising at least two yarns that define a plurality of nodes in engagement with each other.
