PURPOSE: A large block type reinforced retaining wall is provided to ensure doubled strength and convenient construction by using concrete blocks having a size twice the conventional blocks. CONSTITUTION: A large block type reinforced retaining wall comprises concrete blocks(110) which have a space(111) for filling a water permeable material and are connected to form a retaining wall(100), a cover(120) which is coupled to a coupling groove(112) to close the space of the block and prevent the separation of the water permeable material and has a plurality of guide holes(121) for conducting water from the soil to the space, a vertical water infiltration layer formed of the water permeable material filled in the space, a drain pipe which is embedded in the lower concrete block of the retaining wall to drain the water in the retaining wall to the front of the retaining wall, and a top cover(150) which is set on the top of the concrete block to prevent the separation of the water permeable material.
