PURPOSE: A water valve is provided to ensure long service life by being made of stainless steel and smooth opening/closing of a handle by employing a ball. CONSTITUTION: An angled surface(23) is formed in an inner opening/closing hole(22) of a valve housing(3) and an angled surface(19) is formed on the opening/closing surface of a water valve(4). A valve rod(28) and a ring groove(18) are formed on the upper part of the valve, and a rubber ring(17) is installed in the ring groove. A joint groove(13), joint thread(14), and a movement support hole(15) are formed in a valve stem(5). A ball(16) is inserted in the movement support hole of the valve stem. The rubber ring installed in the ring groove of the valve stem is inserted in the movement support hole. A washer(12) and a rubber ring(9) with an angled surface(10) are inserted to the upper part of the valve stem. A handle(2) is fixed in the joint groove of the valve stem with an anchoring bolt(7). A valve assembly, which is assembled out of the valve, the valve stem, a joint cap(6), and the handle, is inserted in the valve housing.
