摘要：
PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling an ac motor of a material moving device is provided to prevent electrical overload to an AC motor, thereby lengthening lifetime of the material moving device. CONSTITUTION: An AC motor control device comprises the following units. A controller generates and outputs a control signal with a voltage command and a frequency command. An inverter converts a DC voltage into a three-phase AC voltage by a switching operation according to the control signal. The inverter supplies the three-phase AC voltage to an AC motor. A relay unit short-circuits the three-phase AC voltage to stop the AC motor.
