PURPOSE: A nozzle propeller for a ship is provided to reduce the fuel consumption by increasing the speed and the force of pulling a tow rope at the same engine power. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle propeller for a ship comprises a fin system, a fixed nozzle(10), and a propeller(12) which is arranged inside the nozzle. The fin system comprises one or more guide fins which are arranged in the front of the propeller in the flow direction, wherein the number of the guide fins arranged in an upper propeller section(28) is greater than that in a lower propeller section.
