PURPOSE: An elastic mat construction method for a playground is provided to minimize damage to children by additionally forming an auxiliary mat on the bottom surface of the elastic mat. CONSTITUTION: An elastic mat construction method for a playground is composed as follows. The ground of a playground is flattened(S1). An auxiliary base layer is formed by spreading sand on the flattened ground(S2). An auxiliary mat layer for absorbing shock is formed on the top of the auxiliary base layer. An elastic mat layer is formed on the top of the auxiliary mat layer(S4).
